This website was created in order to help respectable breeders to consider, among other health aspects, also the "MDR1 defect" as a breeding criterion for amateur breeding.

By clicking on "Welpen/Puppies" you also have the possibility to offer or find puppies.

With affected dogs (MDR1 -/-) this genetic defect leads to the toxicity of various drug substances according to the latest scientific findings.

The initiators of this website therefore offer dog owners the following service free of charge:

All dog owners (not only breeders) can publish the MDR1 test result and - if known - all other data known or relevant for breeding in the respective category for that breed.

The MDR1 test results are not restricted to MDR1 +/+, all other test results are welcome if the respective dog owners should request their publication.

Committed breeders also have the possibility to publish litters, if they acknowledge and mention the criteria found under "Welpen/Puppies".

As we aim to set up a database for contacting purposes, the data relating to dog and dog owner are limited to the minimum information needed.

For each dog you have to specify:

• Full name, address and contacting data of owner
• Full name and date of birth of the dog
• Studbook number and name of club
• Colour and gender
• Breeding-relevant health data ( if already available)
• MDR1 test result (!)
• Breeding recommendation or approval , if applicable
